4 children were killed and 12 wounded as a result of yesterday's massive attack by Russian troops, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

According to prosecutors, within a day:
- On July 8, 4 children died as a result of a massive enemy rocket attack on Kyiv: two girls aged 8 and 14, and 2 boys aged 8 and 10. Ten children aged 2 to 17 sustained injuries of varying severity.
- On July 8, a 16-year-old teenager was wounded in the shelling of Novoekonomichne village in Donetsk region.
- On July 8, a 5-year-old girl was wounded in the shelling of Ochakivske village in Mykolaiv region.
As of the morning of July 9, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 559 children were killed as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. More than 1449 were injured of varying severity.
