The meeting was attended by representatives of BAE Systems, Day & Zimmermann, Boeing, Sierra Nevada Company, Northrop Grumman, RTX, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, D&M Holding, AeroVironment, Amentum.
Zelensky invited American defense companies to work in the Ukrainian market and cooperate with domestic enterprises.
He noted that Ukraine has significantly increased its own production of ammunition and weapons. At the same time, there is a need for enhanced international cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties reportedly discussed prospects for joint defense production, primarily ammunition, air defense systems, guns, armored vehicles and drones, and the repair and maintenance of military equipment.
In addition, in the presence of the President of Ukraine, UOP and Northrop Grumman signed an agreement to establish a new medium-caliber ammunition production facility in accordance with NATO standards.
