U.S. intelligence has determined that a Chinese spy balloon shot down in the skies over South Carolina in February was used to communicate with a local Internet provider. This was reported by NBC News, reports UNN.
Details
According to the sources of the the TV channel, the balloon was electronically tracked, which established that the balloon was connected to an American Internet provider. As it became it became known that this allowed the balloon to send messages to China offline.
The company, accused of of aiding Chinese intelligence, denies any connection to the balloon and insists on to conduct its own investigation. NBC News refuses to disclose the name of the of the provider for privacy reasons.
