US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink emphasized on CNN that support for Ukraine affects US security, so it is necessary to adopt an additional aid package as soon as possible, UNN reports.
My message to everybody is that it is extremely important that the supplemental package for Ukraine is passed as soon as possible. It is urgent. It is imperative to protect and preserve the gains that Ukrainians have made so far. And also to protect our own national security

According to Brigitte Brink, Ukraine has achieved significant successes such as the displacement of the Black Sea Fleet or the creation of a humanitarian corridor. "I want to say that it is also important for our own forced protection and security of the team of diplomats who courageously support Ukraine on the ground," the ambassador added and noted that Ukraine needs weapons to continue to make progress.
