Ukrainian Railways has launched additional flights in the run-up to the Christmas and New Year holidays. In particular, the following are available for booking new routes to the mountains. In addition, Ukraine's only railroad carrier has taken care to increase the number of trains to Lviv. This was reported by with reference to the press service of Ukrazaliznytsia, according to UNN.

In particular, Ukrzaliznytsia noted that tickets are already tickets for the new train #194/193 Kryvyi Rih - Yasinia are already available for purchase. This train in the new schedule connected Kryvyi Rih with the mountains (stations Yaremche, Mykulychyn, Tatariv-Bukovel, Vorokhta, Yaremche) directly with a convenient schedule.
From Kryvyi Rih, train #194/193 will depart from December 17, every other day at 11:02, and will arrive in Yasinia at 10:06. In the opposite direction, from Yasinia, the train will depart from December 18 at 13:28 and arrive in Kryvyi Rih at 10:34.
Tickets are also available for purchase for the new trains #143/144 - 142/141 Sumy, Chernihiv - Ivano-Frankivsk and #365/366 Lutsk - Rakhiv.
Train #143/144 - 142/141 Sumy, Chernihiv - Ivano-Frankivsk will depart from Sumy from Ivano-Frankivsk will depart from Sumy on December 11 at 19:01, from Chernihiv - at 21:18, and arrive in Ivano-Frankivsk at 13:20. Due to the high demand for trains to Lviv and the mountains, Ukrzaliznytsia has added more seats in these directions. "And not just for the Christmas holidays," - Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
In particular, the train #27/28 Kyiv - Mukachevo Mukachevo was scheduled for December 22, 25, 28, 31, and January 3, 6, 9 from Kyiv. The train will will depart at 8:18 and arrive in Mukachevo at 19:30. In the opposite direction, from Mukachevo direction, from Mukachevo, the train will depart on the same dates at 7:26 and arrive in Kyiv at 18:10.
Train #191/192 Kyiv - Lviv has also been assigned. It will depart from Lviv on December 17, 22, 23, 25, 28, 29, 30, 1, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, January 1, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14 at 11:55 and arrive in Kyiv at 22:09. The train will also run between Odesa and Lviv. Train #167/168 will depart from Lviv on December 23, 30, and January 5, 14 at 7:23 and arrive in Odesa at 18:14. Ukrzaliznytsia reminded that in case of absence of tickets for direct trains between the necessary stations, it is worth looking at the options for traveling with transfers. Transfers are are available even within the same train, and a trip with a transfer between two trains can in some cases be cheaper than a direct flight - also due to the possibility to choose a different class of seats for different parts of the journey.
