"The Supreme Court will hold a hearing on pre-trial detention for nine months against a Ukrainian who allegedly killed and dismembered a Russian citizen," the court's press service reports on social media site X.
The hearing in the case will be held on Monday, August 12. According to El Comercio newspaper, the murder took place on August 8 in the city of Yurimaguas at the Dos Mundos Comprehensive Treatment Center.
The journalists claim that Ukrainian Ivan Kuzmin and 44-year-old Russian Lyudmila Lazarenko were taking illegal substances together, which is why the man began to behave aggressively.
