Ukraine will produce one million unmanned aerial vehicles in 2024. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the final press conference, UNN reports.
"As for production, we will produce one million drones next year. We will make a million. We will do everything to make it happen. I know that it will happen," Zelensky said.
He recalled the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, which was "loud" because of the supply of drones. The President also noted that Ukraine should have "the best infrastructure for managing drones, not the Soviet one, but a simple one that can be used very quickly."
"I really don't like it when we still have, let's say, bureaucratic, Soviet processes in place. When 26,000 drones were sitting in one warehouse and didn't make it to the front. Yes, it was very loud at the Stavka, but there can't be such pauses, such problems," he said.
