In Ukraine, it is planned to create an International Information Center on illegal arms trafficking, which will include representatives of the police of different EU countries for the rapid exchange of information on arms trafficking, both legal and non-legal. This was announced by the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the NPU, third-rank police general Vadim Dzyubinsky during the discussion of the study "black market of weapons", the correspondent of UNN reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have constantly seen Russia's attempts to throw fakes about illegal arms trafficking and Ukraine as a black market for weapons in the world
He noted that there is an increase in illegal arms trafficking within the state and this is due to the war.
"But I assure you that we are constantly in close cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of almost all European states, with Europol, with international organizations that deal with illegal arms trafficking. We constantly hold joint meetings and events with them, including the creation of an International Information Center on illegal arms trafficking in Ukraine, which will include representatives of the police of different EU countries for the rapid exchange of information on arms trafficking, both legal and non - legal," Dzyubinsky said.
