To avoid US sanctions, three major Greek shipping companies shipping companies Minerva Marine, Thenamaris and TMS Tankers have stopped transportation of Russian oil. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

The withdrawal of Greek cargo carriers from the trade followed the the tightening of US sanctions imposed on Russian oil supplies.
In October, Washington imposed the first sanctions. They concerned the owners of tankers in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, that transport Russian oil at a price higher than the price set by the "The price limit of $60 per barrel set by the G7 countries.
Last week, the United States imposed sanctions on three more ships.
