The capital of India New Delhi on Tuesday shrouded in thick fog, in some areas visibility decreased to 50 meters, which affected traffic, writes UNN with reference to Sky News.

Traffic was shrouded in fog and at least 30 flights scheduled to land or depart from Delhi airport were delayed, according to Indian news agency ANI.
ANI also reports that at least 14 trains running on routes in northern India have been similarly affected.
"While landings and take-offs at Delhi airport continue, it may affect flights that are not CAT III compliant (CAT III navigation system allows pilots to land safely in low visibility conditions - ed)," an airport spokesperson told X.
Airlines such as India's SpiceJet have also warned passengers that departures and arrivals from New Delhi could be affected.
India's weather department said "very thick fog", occurring at around 9°C, could linger in some parts of the city until Wednesday.
It added that the "thick fog" could affect the health of the city's 20 million residents because it contains particulate matter and other pollutants.
New Delhi's air quality index stood at 376 on Tuesday morning, which was rated "very poor" by the Central Pollution Control Board. It considers levels between 0 and 50 as "good".
Other parts of northern India, including the states of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, witnessed similar weather conditions on Tuesday morning, with temperatures ranging between 6°C and 10°C in most places, the weather department said.
