The wife of the deceased commander of the Kanatove airfield, Volodymyr Marchenko, wants the court to make a fair decision in the case of Roman Chervinsky, based on legal arguments, and not succumb to political pressure. She stated this in a video, commenting on the course of the case and the active involvement of certain political forces in it.
As a reminder, Petro Poroshenko's European Solidarity party sought to bail Roman Chervinsky out.
“Politics should have nothing to do with this, because we are talking about the fate of people. There is no need to play with this,” says Tetiana, who, like her fallen husband, is currently defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Defense Forces.
At the same time, in a recent interview, Roman Chervinsky admitted that he was entering politics on purpose: “I don't even need to be dragged into it, I'll go on my own.
As a reminder, Chervinsky is accused of conducting an unauthorized “special operation” as a result of which the enemy received information about the deployment of our equipment at the Kanatove airfield and launched a missile strike against it. As a result, the commander of the military unit was killed, 17 soldiers were wounded, and several fighters and the runway were damaged.
In addition, Chervinsky is involved in criminal proceedings on extortion of $100 thousand from a businessman for solving the issue of smuggled cigarettes at Odesa customs. A video shot by a hidden camera shows him and several people discussing the issue.
