U.S. funding for Ukraine is expected to run out by the end of the year, White House budget director Shalanda Young has warned, the Financial Times reports, according to UNN.

"The White House has issued a blunt warning that the US is set to run out of funds to aid Ukraine by the end of the year," the newspaper writes.
White House Budget Director Shalanda Yang's warning in a letter to congressional leaders on Monday is the most concrete assessment yet of Washington's weakening financial and military support for Ukraine, the article notes.
"Without congressional action, we will run out of resources to purchase additional weapons and equipment for Ukraine and provide equipment from U.S. military stockpiles by the end of the year," Young wrote to political leaders of both parties.
"There is no magic funding source that can meet this point. We are running out of money and almost out of time," she said.
