The Ukrainian parliament has approved a bill to establish a National Military Memorial Cemetery, likely to be located in Hatne, rejecting a previous proposal for Bykivnia. The exact location will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers upon the proposal of the relevant executive authority.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on the establishment of the National Military Memorial Military cemetery, which is likely to be located in Hatne, Kyiv region, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said, according to UNN.

It is noted that the adoption of bill No. 10289 was supported by 303 MPs in total.

It makes it possible to actually change the location of the cemetery: "the location of the National Military Memorial Cemetery shall be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine upon the proposal of the central executive body that ensures the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of social protection of war veterans." In fact, according to government officials, it will be in Hatne,
