The Prosecutor General's Office has filed an appeal against the ruling of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, which changed the measure of restraint for one of the suspects in the criminal proceedings on the purchase of ammunition for the army from custody to personal commitment. This was reported in an exclusive commentary to UNN by the OGP.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the main reason for the appeal was that on March 15, the judge considered a motion to change the measure of restraint with the participation of only representatives of the defense, without the participation of prosecutors and the suspect. The prosecutors also claimed that the measure of restraint chosen by the court would not ensure the risks in the criminal proceedings.

"In view of the above, the Prosecutor General's Office filed an appeal against the above decision of the first instance court with the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court," the PGO said.

The OGP did not specify which of the suspects they are talking about.
