The blocking of the border by Polish farmers has a negative impact on the agricultural business. The losses incurred by commodity producers, processors, and logistics companies amount to significant amounts.
This was announced during a briefing by Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council Denys Marchuk, reports UNN.

If we start counting from November, every month we lose customs duties, and according to the head of the Tax and Customs Policy Committee, Hetmantsev, the losses in March alone due to non-payment of customs duties amounted to UAH 6.3 billion. This is a huge amount of money for a country at war, and if we take into account the direct and indirect losses incurred by producers, processors, and logistics companies, it is a much larger amount
He noted that two checkpoints on the border with Poland remain blocked.
