The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia may announce the final results of the parliamentary elections tomorrow. A CEC meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on November 16. This was reported by the opposition TV channel Pirveli, UNN reports.
According to Novosti Georgia, the commission members received a notification from the administration in the evening. The notification did not contain a summons.
Critics of the authorities call the CEC's actions "logical". They point out that it will be difficult to organize a large-scale protest tomorrow. Thousands of people have left the city for Batumi, where a football match between Georgia and Ukraine will take place tomorrow.
However, a rally near the CEC headquarters in the Digomi district has already been announced.
"Tomorrow, the CEC will summarize the final protocol. There's also a football game, and they hope to sneak in. Tomorrow in front of the CEC is the place to gather and fight. At 11 o'clock!" wrote Khatia Dekanoidze, a representative of the Unity - National Movement, on her Facebook page.

According to the newspaper, there are no legal obstacles to the announcement of the results. Today, the Tbilisi Court of Appeal has completed consideration of the last appeals of the opposition and local observers. The session was held without oral hearings - the plaintiffs were not present and could not present their evidence or arguments.
The court upheld the decision of the lower court. The applicants demanded that almost all the final protocols of the district election commissions be declared invalid due to violations of the secrecy of the vote. The Tbilisi City Court rejected their request on November 14.
According to the law, the election administration must announce the final election results no later than November 21. On the tenth day after the results are announced, the new parliament is to convene.
