The Russian occupiers have not reached the outskirts of Chasiv Yar in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. Fighting continues on the approaches. Colonel Andriy Zadubinnyi, head of the press service of the Khortytsia military unit, told UNN.

Commenting on the situation near Chasiv Yar, Zadubinnyi noted that heavy fighting continues.
When asked whether the Russians had actually reached the outskirts of Chasiv Yar, Zadubinnyi replied: "No. There is still fighting on the approaches."
He noted that the occupiers are conducting assault operations very actively.

Earlier, DeepState project analysts reported that Russia had advanced east of Chasiv Yar on the frontline. On April 5, DeepState reported that the situation was difficult east of Chasiv Yar.
