The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with the management of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The parties discussed grant support for SMEs, the development of the manufacturing and defense industries, demining, and green energy. The EBRD assured of continued support. The head of government announced this on Wednesday in social networks, UNN reports.

"We had a meeting with the EBRD leadership, headed by First Vice President Jürgen Rigterink. (...) We discussed our priorities in the economy. In particular, grant support for small and medium-sized businesses, development of processing and defense industry, humanitarian demining, and green energy," Shmyhal said on Telegram.
The Prime Minister pointed out that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the EBRD has already invested more than €3 billion in Ukraine's economy. "First and foremost, in support of energy security, infrastructure, food, trade and the private sector," he said.
"I thanked him for the significant increase in investment in Ukraine and received assurances that the EBRD will continue to support the Ukrainian economy," Shmyhal said.
