As of the morning of November 27, weather conditions in Odesa Oblast have slightly improved, allowing us to work on the blocked roads. All services are involved in the fight against bad weather, with equipment working around the clock. The head of Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, said this on the air of the telethon "United News", UNN reports.
The weather conditions have improved slightly. Sometime after two in the morning, the snow stopped, which made it possible to increase the number of working equipment on the roads that are blocked today. The Odesa-Reni, Odesa-Kuchurhan and Odesa-Kyiv roads are currently closed. The situation is complicated. On some sections of the road, the snow is more than two meters deep. However, the equipment is working."Kiper said.
Kiper continued that vehicles are approaching the cars stuck on the Odesa-Kyiv highway from both sides. He said they are in touch with people who need help.
The head of the OVA also said that they managed to free people who were in buses stuck in snow drifts.
"Our services managed to take such people off the buses. They were given hot food and tea, transported to the nearest settlements with the possibility of accommodation so that they could get warm and not spend the night in the buses," Kiper said.
The head of the UMA added that as of 6 a.m., about 340 settlements in Odesa region remained without power supply.
"Now the wind has calmed down a bit, all services can work. Therefore, over the past two hours, we have returned electricity to twenty settlements," he added.
Kiper emphasized that schools and kindergartens are working remotely today, and urged people not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
As a reminder,

One of these ambulances was carrying a woman in labor. After the rescue, at about 9 p.m., she gave birth to a girl in a hospital in the region, Kiper said.
