Russia confirms death of one of the pilots of the downed Tu-22M3 bomber

As a result of an operation by the GSD in cooperation with the Air Force, a Tu-22MZ bomber that was launching missiles at Ukraine today has been destroyed. The enemy aircraft was shot down at a distance of about 300 kilometers from Ukraine using the same means that were used to hit the Russian A-50 earlier.
Commander of the AFU Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk said that for the first time, the AFU's anti-aircraft missile units, in cooperation with intelligence, destroyed a Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber carrying two Kh-22 cruise missiles.
