Thus, in case of impossibility to launch the boiler house, the city authorities, together with the specialists of Odesagaz and other specialized services, have worked out the possibility of connecting modular boiler houses as a backup option, Trukhanov said.
"I thank the regional military administration for the fact that we are solving this issue together today. The modular boilers will be delivered by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region from all the cities of Ukraine where they are available. This will allow us to provide heat to the homes of residents by connecting them to the gas supply network. Each boiler will be installed for a separate group of houses," the mayor emphasized.
He also added that, according to preliminary information from experts, the condition of the pipe allows for the heating process to be organized. According to the forecasts, the emergency work will last about 10-15 days.
"We are currently working to eliminate the consequences. I am grateful to the construction companies Stikon and Budova for joining the cleanup. We are also deploying tents for heating, organizing hot drinks and food for local residents," said the mayor of Odesa.
