According to the Prosecutor General, the main topic of the meeting was two criminal proceedings being investigated by Ukrainian law enforcement.

The first concerns the assassination attempt on a Ukrainian family in Monaco. In Ukraine, the crime is classified as a completed attempt at premeditated murder of two or more persons, committed on order, in a manner dangerous to the lives of many people. The second proceeding was initiated over the murder of Ukrainian citizen Anastasiia Berezovska, whom Monaco law enforcement suspects of involvement in the assassination attempt.

- Kravchenko added.

The Prosecutor General informed his colleagues about the progress of the Ukrainian investigation, the established circumstances of the murder of Anastasiia Berezovska, and also shared details of the detention of individuals whom the investigation considers to be the perpetrators of this crime.

He separately emphasized the need for the earliest possible creation of an international investigative group that would ensure prompt exchange of information, coordination of investigative actions, and effective interaction between the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and the Principality of Monaco. After all, in such cases, speed and joint actions of law enforcement officers are key to establishing all the circumstances of the crime. He assured that Ukraine is open to full cooperation in accordance with international legal procedures. I count on the same open position from our partners in the Principality of Monaco. Together with colleagues, we agreed to establish prompt exchange of information and available investigation materials.

- Kravchenko summarized.
