The High Anti-Corruption Court has postponed to August 20 a hearing to choose a preventive measure for Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, who is suspected of illegal enrichment of UAH 56.2 million. UNN reports this with reference to Suspilne.
"The meeting to choose a preventive measure for the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Kirilenko, was postponed to August 20," the statement said.
In a comment to Suspilne, Kyrylenko said that he did not agree with the prosecutor's request for detention with the possibility of bail in excess of UAH 121 million.
According to him, comments on the validity of the suspicion will be made after the petition is completed in order not to disclose the secrets of the pre-trial investigation.
