Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 3,000 prisoners of war have been returned, including both military personnel and civilians.

51 exchanges have been carried out since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, during which more than 3,000 prisoners of war were returned. This was stated by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, during a telethon, UNN reports .

According to Yusov, Ukraine is not waiting for the end of hostilities and is actively working to return prisoners.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 51 exchanges have already taken place and more than 3,100 people have been returned. Most of them are military, but there are also civilians. The work on this is ongoing," he added.
