The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reminded that the use and distribution of most fireworks and firecrackers in Ukraine is prohibited by law. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Details
In particular, the agency reminded that Ukraine has a ban on:
- Use of fireworks (pyrotechnic products intended for use during entertainment events) of classes F2, F3, F4.
- Sale and/or transfer by any means of fireworks of classes F2, F3, F4.
- Sale and/or transfer by any means of fireworks of class F1 to persons under the age of 16.

On November 6, 2023, a law came into force in Ukraine that bans the use and distribution of most salutes, fireworks, and firecrackers.

Law No. 7438 was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the period of martial law in Ukraine. The document was subsequently approved by parliamentarians and signed by the head of state in May.
The ban applies to fireworks, including salutes and firecrackers. However, the exception is class F1 fireworks, which have a very low level of danger and a low noise level not exceeding 60 dB.
