The occupiers have begun to audit the last 33 mines in Donbas. As if to identify profitable and unprofitable mines. In fact, the reason is trivial - there is no one to work in the mines and they can no longer be maintained due to millions of dollars in debts for electricity. This was reported by the Center of National Resistance, UNN reports.

Almost 100 mines out of 114 have been recognized by the Russians as unprofitable. Many of these enterprises were brought to disappointing economic performance by the invaders themselves.
At first, it was forced mobilization, when, for example, at the Chervonyi Partizan mine, they could barely get six men per shift. It is known that almost 60 percent of the miners were mobilized in the temporarily occupied territories at one time. At the same time, even for those mine workers who remained, the occupiers delayed their salaries for months.
At the same time, since 2014, the Russian press and think tanks have called the seized Ukrainian lands a "gold mine" and a "promising region.
