The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved for operation the UAT.DESNA armored vehicle, which is a Ukrainian analogue of the American Humvee, as well as the modernized MRAP UAT.GYURZA-02. This was reported by Defense Express with reference to the Ministry of Defense, writes UNN.

UAT.DESNA was created by the company "UkrArmoTech". The Ministry of Defense noted that the armored vehicle is built on a specialized chassis, and the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war was taken into account during its development.
In addition, the updated MRAP-class armored vehicle UAT.GYURZA-02 was approved for operation. It received software with artificial intelligence and a number of refinements made at the request of the military.
UAT.GYURZA-02 received greater payload capacity and range
After modernization, the total weight of the vehicle increased to 18 tons, allowing it to carry up to 2.5 tons of payload. The developers also strengthened the suspension, installed new tires, and increased the range to 1200 km.
As Defense Express notes, after codification, the Defense Forces of Ukraine can now purchase both the new Ukrainian analogue of the Humvee and the improved armored vehicle UAT.GYURZA-02. Such equipment is intended for the safe transportation of military personnel, evacuation, and other combat missions.
