The explosion that occurred in Mykolaiv is not related to an enemy strike. This was reported by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, UNN reports.
"The explosion is not related to an enemy arrival. Emergency services are working at the scene. The houses nearby were not damaged," said Senkevych.

Sounds of an explosion were heard in Mykolaiv.
Earlier, the Air Force reported threats of ballistic missile use in areas where air alert was declared. However, no air alert was declared in Mykolaiv region.
The city and regional authorities did not comment on the explosion.
