The Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence will continue working on the draft law on mobilization today. MPs plan to consider more than 700 more amendments and thus probably pass more than 80% of the bill, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said, UNN reports.
Today, the Security Committee will continue working on the draft law on mobilization. 700 more amendments (2816-3518) are planned to be considered. It means that after today the draft law will be 82% ready
According to him, at this rate of consideration, there will be only one meeting on amendments.

The Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of government draft law No. 10449, which provides for changes to the legislation on mobilization, in the first reading on February 7. The parliament emphasized that the draft law would be amended by the second reading. In particular, the mono-majority indicatedthat compromises would be sought before the second reading on the postponement of military service for graduate students, the seizure of accounts, etc.
The day before, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence, while working on the draft law on mobilization, rejected an amendment regarding mobilization from the age of 18.
