In order to direct enemy weapons to bypass the Ukrainian air defense, the traitor tried to detect the combat positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and mobile Fire groups of the Defense Forces. To do this, he installed a hidden video camera in the attic of the high-rise building in which he lived. With the help of this observation post, the defendant also hoped to track the approximate number and types of weapons of the Ukrainian troops moving in the direction of the front line.,

The SBU documented the agent's crimes and detained him at his place of residence. Simultaneously, comprehensive measures were taken to secure the positions of the Defense Forces.
During the searches, a mobile phone, a video camera and a flash drive with evidence of intelligence and subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation were seized from the detainee.
According to the investigation, the person involved came to the attention of the FSB when he published anti-Ukrainian comments in Russian Telegram channels.
After remote recruitment, his further communication with the invaders took place through a contact from the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
SBU investigators informed the FSB agent of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The attacker is in custody. He faces life in prison with confiscation of property.
