The Ukrainian corridor in the Black Sea exported 10 million tons of cargo, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Reconstruction Oleksandr Kubrakov said on Tuesday, UNN reports.
Exports of 10 million tons of cargo are the result of the Ukrainian corridor through the Black Sea. 302 vessels exported Ukrainian agricultural products and other cargo to 24 countries.
According to him, in the 4 months of the corridor's operation, the range of cargoes has been expanded and exports have begun. "I would like to note that the volume of agricultural products has increased significantly: from 278 thousand tons in the first month to almost 5 million tons now," he said.
"Despite Russia's systematic attacks on the port infrastructure, the Ukrainian corridor is working - since its launch, the ports of Greater Odesa have received 337 new vessels for loading, and another 79 are being prepared to receive them in the near future. Many thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and international partners who help ensure the operation of this route in the face of military aggression," the official said.
