Controls are being tightened in the border regions of Kharkiv region to counter Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
Details
Klymenko visited border communities in Kharkiv region and discussed countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Russian invaders.
In particular, in Zolochiv, the minister held a meeting with regional and local authorities and heads of MIA units. They discussed evacuation from border villages, fortifications, and emergency power supply to critical infrastructure and communication stations.
Special attention is paid to countering enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Our units constantly detect and repel Russian saboteurs. To strengthen control, border guards are setting up additional observation posts, and the number of response teams has been increased
According to him, the enemy is hitting populated areas to intimidate civilians.
But neither artillery strikes nor sabotage attacks will force us to retreat. This was the case in 2022, when the military and a police officer heroically stopped Russian troops on their way to Zolochiv
