According to the head of the RMA, a playground was hit in the city, residential buildings, an educational institution, and about 20 cars were damaged. All of these were exclusively civilian objects.
In addition, according to Sinegubov, more than 17 settlements of the region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling during the day:
- At 00:46 on December 8, an enemy shelling (previously by KAB) took place in the village of Kurylivka, Kupyansk district. As a result of the shelling two floors of a 5-storey residential building were burning.
- Around 16 p.m. on December 7, there was a shelling in the village of Podoly, Kupyansk district. Three civilians were wounded: a man of 56 years old and women of 50 and 69 years old.
"In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka," said the head of the RMA.
