On Instagram, ads have appeared for apps that generate unauthorized nudes using artificial intelligence. After researchers from 404 Media discovered the aggregate, the parent company Meta quickly removed them, but despite Zuckerberg's statements, deep fakes created by artificial intelligence can continue to "saturate the Internet," Business Insider writes, UNN reports .

Instagram, which is now Meta's own platform, has been advertising apps for generating non-consensual nudes using AI - the specialized publication 404 Media reported at least two such apps being advertised on the social network.
According to media reports, Instagram may benefit from advertising related to various initiatives that invite the creation of nude people without consent using artificial intelligence applications.
Meta Ad Library is a platform that archives its ads. Thus, it can be found that the company has previously removed several such ads, 404 Media notes.
One of the most scandalous advertisements contained a photo of Kim Kardashian and the text: "Undress any girl for free. Try it." People who clicked on this ad were taken to one of the largest nudity websites where they could upload a photo and pay for a program to create the image.
During its investigation, 404 found that many of the ads its reporters came across had been removed from the meta ad library by the time they checked it out. At the same time, others were removed only after they alerted a company representative to their existence.

The company, led by Mark Zuckerberg, recently announced that it is going to take a number of measures to make its social media safer from sexual harassment and bullying. For example, Instagram itself intends to start blurring nude images in private messages to protect teenagers.
However, deep fakes created by artificial intelligence may still be a problem for such platforms, as this issue even threatens to "saturate the Internet," Business Insider notes.
