The NABU and the SAPO have completed an investigation into a lawyer who incited her client to bribe judges of the Sumy Court of Appeal to make a decision in his favor. This was reported by the NABU press service , UNN reports.

According to the investigation, back in 2021, the defense lawyer offered her client a bribe of $4,000 to the panel of judges of the Sumy Court of Appeal and its chairman. In return, they were to overturn the first instance verdict, which sentenced the client to 4 years in prison.
