The accident occurred on the highway connecting the village of Dvorkovshchyna - the city of Yagotin. According to preliminary information, the 34-year-old driver, being in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication at the wheel of a Kamaz truck, lost control and allowed the vehicle to roll over.
Unfortunately, as a result of the accident, the passenger - the driver's 9-year-old son-died at the scene. The driver was found to have 1.4 ppm of alcohol
Law enforcement officers detained the driver, placed him in a temporary detention center and reported suspicion to the driver on this fact (Part 3 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
