In the Kiev region, the driver of a Kamaz truck, being in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication, caused an accident in which his 9-year-old son was killed. The driver was detained and taken into custody. About it UNN reports with reference to the police of the region.

The accident occurred on the highway connecting the village of Dvorkovshchyna - the city of Yagotin. According to preliminary information, the 34-year-old driver, being in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication at the wheel of a Kamaz truck, lost control and allowed the vehicle to roll over.
Unfortunately, as a result of the accident, the passenger - the driver's 9-year-old son-died at the scene. The driver was found to have 1.4 ppm of alcohol
Law enforcement officers detained the driver, placed him in a temporary detention center and reported suspicion to the driver on this fact (Part 3 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
