The head of the Kyivmiskbud Holding Company, Ihor Kushnir, has announced that he is resigning from the post of Chairman of the Board and President of the company after 12 years of work. He wrote about this on his Facebook page, UNN reports.

"The Kyiv City Council has approved the report of the temporary control commission on the audit of Kyivmiskbud. I consider this to be the final point that removes any questions about the legitimacy of the management and the situation in the Company as a whole.
In order to avoid manipulations and gossip, I have decided to resign from the position of Chairman of the Board - President of Kyivmiskbud, to which I have devoted a significant part of my life," wrote I. Kushnir.
He noted that over 12 years under his leadership, Kyivmiskbud has built almost 4 million square meters of real estate. To date, the construction reserve is 2.2 million square meters. The company has paid UAH 210 million in dividends, transferred engineering networks worth almost UAH 600 million to the city's balance sheet free of charge, and paid over UAH 330 million in taxes to the city.
"We also supported Ukrbud's investors. We have accepted almost 800 thousand square meters of unfinished housing and have already handed over almost 400 thousand square meters of completed housing to investors," said Igor Kushnir.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, demand in the real estate market almost disappeared. "Kyivmiskbud was no exception, with virtually no sales. In this regard, the Company was forced to ask for financial support from the city, the Cabinet of Ministers, and other institutions to no avail. After that, the Supervisory Board appointed an audit of Kyivmiskbud.
"The activities of Kyivmiskbud over the past three crisis years have been studied in detail. No abuses by the Company's management and myself were found. It was confirmed that the Company was functioning properly before the emergence of external factors that significantly affected not only us but the entire market. The audit conclusions contained clear suggestions on how to overcome the current situation. I believe that the implementation of these proposals will allow the Company to fulfill its obligations, and investors will receive their housing and will not become hostages to the situation," Kushnir said.

The audit of Kyivmiskbud has recently been completed. As a result of the independent auditors' analysis of Kyivmiskbud's financial and business condition, they found no signs of actions to bring the company to bankruptcy or conceal the fact of its persistent financial insolvency.
On November 17, the Commission approved an interim report with recommendations and proposals for the further work of Kyivmiskbud, including the purchase of apartments from the company, consideration of the possibility of a financial loan or additional capitalization of the company. The TAC also recommended that the Kyiv City Council appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to compensate Kyivmiskbud for the total planned loss associated with the completion of Ukrbud construction corporation projects in the amount of UAH 2.28 billion.
Later, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Company emphasized that the results of the independent audit showed that Kyivmiskbud had been functioning properly before the emergence of external factors that significantly affected its performance (in particular COVID-19, full-scale war, and the Ukrbud factor). He also noted that the city will take an active part in the resumption of the Company's operations.
