Russia's plans to mobilize 300,000 people may affect residents of the temporarily occupied territories who applied to be included in the voter lists during the so-called "referendum" campaign, as their data is counted as an additional resource for military service.

The Russians' plans to mobilize 300,000 people may also affect the temporarily occupied territories and their population. Therefore, the people who applied to the voter lists during the so-called campaign before the "elections" are already "in the pencil". This was reported by the head of the press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalia Gumenyuk during a telethon, the correspondent of UNN reports.

They (the occupiers - ed.) are now forming mobilization resources. That is, the declared mobilization of 300 thousand people may affect the entire temporarily occupied territories and their population. Therefore, people who have already applied to the voter lists during the campaign before the "elections" are already "in pencil," as they say. Their data is recorded as an additional resource,

- said Humeniuk.

According to her, the occupiers are gathering residents of the occupied territories into so-called "territorial defense units.

Defense structures are also being formed. At first, people are formed in local units, and then transported to so-called training grounds, where a combat unit is formed and transferred closer to the line of contact. Also, the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories are now busy taking inventory of property where people have left without wanting to participate in the elections,

- Humeniuk said.

In addition, she noted that another focus of the occupiers' work is youth and children, whom the Russians are militarizing.
