Mykolaiv: SBU detains FSB informant who set up "observation post" for Ukrainian Armed Forces convoys in apartment
Details
According to the SBU, the offender set up an "observation post" in his apartment and monitored the intensity of movement of the Armed Forces units along one of the key highways towards the front line. In particular, during the movement of Ukrainian military equipment, the offender tried to establish its approximate number and paid special attention to heavy weapons.
Despite the conspiracy of the Russian informant, SBU officers still exposed him and documented the facts of his intelligence and subversive activities.
Comprehensive measures were taken: the suspect was detained red-handed.
It is also indicated that during the arrest, the offender and his son physically resisted law enforcement officers to escape from the scene.
AddendumAddendum
According to the investigation, the defendant was in contact with pro-Kremlin blogger Serhiy Lebedev (known by the pseudonym "Shaggy" and working for the FSB), communicating with him through an anonymous chat in a messenger, where he posted intelligence "reports".
During the search of the detainee's apartment, a cell phone with evidence of criminal activity was seized.
The collaborator was served a notice of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the direction, movement of weapons, movement, relocation or deployment of the Armed Forces committed under martial law). He faces 12 years in prison.
Recall
SBU military counterintelligence prevented a Russian sabotage against the Defense Forces Command on the southern front. The special operation resulted in the detention of an FSB agent who tried to fatally poison the commanders of an Armed Forces combat unit in Zaporizhzhia region.
