The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the PSO for electricity until the end of April next year. For household consumers, the price of electricity will continue to be UAH 2.64 per kWh. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, UNN reports.
"The first winter month is coming to an end, and the Ukrainian energy sector is doing well. The daily maximum consumption has been decreasing for several days in a row," Shmyhal said.
According to him, there is enough generation to provide electricity and heat in Ukrainian homes and for the operation of enterprises.
"Today we are extending the PSO for electricity until the end of April next year. As promised, the price of electricity for household consumers will continue to be UAH 2.64 per kWh. This will allow us not to increase the burden on family budgets during the heating season," said Shmyhal.
