Finland is closing several checkpoints across the sea and lakes that were previously open to Russians. This is stated in the message of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, reports UNN.
Details
In particular, Russians were banned from boating on the Saimaa Canal, which is located on the border of the two countries.
In addition, two sea crossing points were closed: Haapasaari and Santio.
Recall
Finland's Supreme Administrative Court rejected Russian complaints against the government's decision to close the border with Russia, saying they lacked sufficient grounds.
