In Kyiv, an investigative team is currently working at the site of the collapse of a retaining wall during the repair of soil retention works that led to the death of a person. Thus, during the overhaul of the retaining walls of a residential building for soil retention at 7/10 Lutheranska Street, which is being carried out by order of the Pechersk District State Administration, one of the walls collapsed. As a result, one of the workers was killed and another was hospitalized with injuries. Work is also underway to clear the rubble
It is noted that four employees of the contractor organization performed the overhaul of the retaining walls of the building.
As explained by the Pechersk District State Administration, the repairs are being carried out under a contract between the Department of Housing and Construction of the Pechersk District State Administration in Kyiv and LKBUD LLC. The design and estimate documentation was developed by ARCON Engineering Company LLC.
