The families of 331 children who suffered from the July 8 attack on Okhmatdyt hospital by russian federation have received financial assistance. The government is paying UAH 10,800 per person, up to a maximum of UAH 54,000 per family, with the support of UNICEF.

The families of more than 330 children who suffered from the attack on July 8, when russian troops attacked the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, have already received a one-time financial assistance. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Details

The government provided a one-time financial assistance of UAH 10,800 per person for families with children who suffered from the bombing and air strikes. The assistance is paid with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The maximum amount of payment per family will be UAH 54,000 (5 people).

This assistance will be provided to families with children who were being treated at the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital at the time of the July 8 attack and to families with children of injured employees of a private medical facility that was also attacked

It is noted that 206 families have already received this assistance, a total of 709 people, including 331 children. The first funds of the financial assistance were transferred to the accounts of the victims.

The ministry also noted that if a child was treated at Okhmatdyt as of July 8 and suffered from an attack on the hospital, and payments have not been received within the next week, they should call the hotline at 0 800 600 017 (Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 20:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00, Sunday is a day off, calls are free).

On July 8, the russian federation launched a missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, where children with the most serious diagnoses from all over Ukraine receive treatment. At the time of the attack, there were 627 young patients in the hospital. As a result of the shelling, 2 people were killed and more than 50 were injured.
