More than 400 items in the catalogues that supply food for the military are excellent, but not all of these items end up on the military table, and the huge list provides ample opportunities for manipulation and abuse. This was stated by military expert Sergey Zgurets in a comment to UNN.

Zgurets also notes that there is another component where there were abuses - this is logistics in the supply of products. In addition, the expert noted the importance of the agency under the Ministry of Defense, which will deal with the purchase and supply of food, as soon as possible to work in full force.
"So far, it seems that by the end of the year we will live according to the Old conditions and according to the old procedures. And there is also a risk that not all the funds allocated for this year, the Ministry of Defense will be able to use, in accordance with time limits. Personnel changes have affected the conclusion of a number of contracts, in addition, not all enterprises will now want to choose something under the old regime for execution," Zgurets said, adding that Ukrainian soldiers generally eat well.

Arsen Zhumadilov, general director of the state-owned enterprise, said that he will break down 407 items that are in the food catalog for the military, approximately into 30-35 categories, for each of which there will be separate contracts and procedures.
"The unit price of each product will be available to the public so that it understands exactly at what price an egg, apple, potato, meat, etc.is purchased," Zhumadilov assured.
According to the general director of the state rear operator, the service component, that is, the complex of logistics services, will be purchased separately.
