Russian occupants used 42 kamikaze drones against Ukrainian defenders in the area of Bakhmut , Donetsk region, over the past day. In general, the situation in the Bakhmut sector remains quite tense but under control. This was announced by the head of the public relations service of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fitio during a telethon on Thursday, a correspondent of UNN reports.
42 kamikaze drones were used against Ukrainian defenders in the area of Bakhmut. The artillery did not stop firing for the whole day. This is 486 attacks on Ukrainian positions. This all happened in the area of Klishchiyivka and Andriivka. Nevertheless, Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy 164 Russian occupants and 17 pieces of military equipment, including one tank, said Fitio.
He noted that the situation in the Bakhmut sector remains tense but under control.
We see that the situation in the Bakhmut sector remains quite tense, but controlled. The enemy tried to push our units out of the area of Klishchiyivka in the previous days. He did not achieve any strategic success in this area. But we understand that a large number of human resources gives the enemy a certain advantage. We also see that they do not spare any equipment. Since the beginning of the month alone, about 800 pieces of equipment have been destroyed or damaged in the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of forces, Fitio said.
