According to Musk, this project will be called Blindsight. The inventor said that the chips have already been successfully tested on blind monkeys, none of which "died or was seriously injured by the Neuralink device.
"Initially, the vision will be low, like in early Nintendo video game graphics, but eventually it can exceed normal human vision," he said.
