Over the last day, 63 combat engagements were registered.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made 2 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces near the village of Sinkivka, Kharkiv region. He conducted an air strike near the village of Basove, Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Synkivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled one enemy attack near Rozdolivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. Artillery and mortar fire from the Russian Armed Forces hit more than 20 localities: Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Terny, Yampolivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Spirne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled seven enemy attacks near Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region. In particular, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and New York in the Donetsk region came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Orlivka, Oleksandropil and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The enemy launched air strikes near Netaylovo and Novoselivka Persha; about 20 settlements were shelled.
In the Novopavlivsk sector, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Pobeda, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 25 times. The invaders launched an air strike near Shakhtarske. Under artillery and mortar fire: Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhivske direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 5 times in the areas of Robotyno and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhya region. He carried out air strikes near Staromayorske, Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar attacks were carried out on about 15 settlements, including Poltavka, Charivne, Gulyaypole, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhya region.
At the Kherson direction, the enemy made 3 attacks on the positions of our troops on the left bank of the Dnipro River during the day. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region; Kozatske, Tyahynka, Ivanivka, and Sadove in Kherson region.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, the operational situation remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation: the areas near the settlements of Lukashivka in Chernihiv region and Velyka Pysarivka, Popivka, Oleksandrivka, and Luhivka in Sumy region were affected. More than 20 settlements, including Kliusy and Hirsk in Chernihiv region; Pustomyhorod, Iskryskivka, Popivka in Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan, Staritsa, Gatyshche in Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Multi-storey buildings and private houses were destroyed and damaged.

Six residents of Mykolaiv were injured on Sunday, March 17. Homes, vehicles and infrastructure were also damaged when Russian forces attacked an infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv with Iskander ballistic missiles.
