Diplomats emphasize that ecosystems know no political boundaries, and crimes against the environment have a global impact.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Portugal together with the organization UAnimals installed a unique installation by the Spanish artist Carreiro Trigo "Christmas on Fire" in the premises of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Lisbon. This installation is a burnt Christmas tree that symbolizes the destruction of Ukraine's nature caused by Russian military aggression.

The Embassy and UAnimals call on the international community not only to condemn war crimes and crimes against humanity, but also to bring to justice the ecocide that has catastrophic consequences for the environment.
Diplomats emphasize that this installation is a reminder of the importance of protecting the environment in times of conflict and of responsibility to future generations
