It is noted that the ban will be in effect for two days - until November 24.
Buffalo Niagara International Airport has up to 100 flights a a day and serves 31 destinations.
Every car that arrives at Buffalo International Airport Buffalo International Airport is checked by explosive detection dogs under heightened security in in response to the bridge incident.
According to a spokesman for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, police patrols will be increased and travelers at the airport will undergo additional checks.

The explosion occurred on the eve of Thanksgiving in the United States, a time when most Americans travel to celebrate the holiday with their families.
