About 500 trucks are currently queuing at three checkpoints in Poland to cross into Ukraine amid a blockade by Polish farmers. The border crossing rates for leaving Ukraine at Yagodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints are zero. This was reported by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.
Polish farmers continue to make it difficult for trucks to move. As of now, it is three directions. I would like to remind you that earlier there were six checkpoints that they blocked, but as of now there are three - Yahodyn, Uhryniv, and Rava-Ruska. As of this morning, there are about 500 trucks in the queue at these three crossing points. The biggest queue is opposite Yahodyn
According to him, at Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints, Polish farmers do not allow trucks traveling from Ukraine to Poland at all, and there have been zero border crossings from Ukraine in the recent period.
Of course, they do let a certain number of trucks pass to Ukraine, but this is far from ideal, from the capacities in each of these directions. For example, at the Yagodyn checkpoint, which is the largest infrastructure direction that can clear about 1200-1400 trucks per day, Polish farmers let about 60 trucks through to Ukraine last day. In fact, we have zero indicators for leaving Ukraine in this direction
He also reported on the situation at the previously unblocked checkpoints.
In particular, 800 trucks are waiting to cross the border in the direction of Krakivets and about 400 in the direction of Shehyni. But the traffic in these directions is now intense
